CACRA 17/11/13
A few off us made our way to Cacra today. Rob appeared at my place and we made our way round to Cacra in the landrover, and thanks to the Goodridge all terrain tyres we were able to drive to the top for around 11am.

Back in the saddle after a few months away doing other stuff. Plan was to meet at Mountbenger as the wind was due to swing round from N to S through the day. Unfortunately
Windy, Rain, grey, grotty, shitty.. sunny(!?!) all valid descriptions for todays weather. There was a hint of a chance of a weather window for some flying at bridgend.
North Westerly forecast for Saturday or something in that general direction. maybe turning a bit to the west later. so.. where to go. I was half thinking of clough head then someone (Logan) suggested the moorfoots might be worth a look.
I've always felt the Moorfoots were a tad far for me (from Lockerbie) but for some reason I thought it might be worth a look.
There is something good about being able to drive to the launch site with a car, particularly when its windy and you have to wait for things to settle down.
