Another chance of some evening soaring at Dungavel looked on the cards. Wind strong during the day but forecast to drop. and it did :-)

The forecast was for a Strong westerly wind during the day but dropping early evening and for once the forecast was correct.
My plan was to get to the hill about 19:30 and catch things as they dropped off. I made it to the bottom for 19:20 and there were three gliders in the air with three more on the hill.
After a busy week it looked like there might be a chance of a sneaky wee fly at bridgend after work.
Easter Friday. no work. and it looked sort of flyable in a high pressure light wind kind of way. work has been a tad busy and due to other commitments over the weekend I was not weather watching as much as I have in the past.
After Wingbeat members trying to fly various sites on Good Friday and plans to head to the Aberdeen round of the Scottish Nationals on Saturday it seemed as though all options had been covered for the Easter weekend. However a late change of time and venue for the Nationals and a quick look at RASP suggested that staying local may be a better option...but where to go??
