The rest of the family had decided to head up to Edinburgh today so I tagged on and was dropped of at the Moorfoots.
Cliffs car was there so I knew he was around somewhere...Graham Saunders appeared and we walked in to the take off together.
We could see that Cliff had launched but it looked nasty, he landed and walked up to us and announced "its awful".
We waited for a while before things calmed down and finally launched off and set of down the ridge, pretty easy going along to the west end...nice .
The journey back was pretty slow as the wind was going North, by the time I was 3/4 way back things were very North and it was only the convergence that lifted us up enough to make it back to the cars.
Nice to be out.
