DUNGAVEL 16/2/14
After what seems like an age, a possible flying day at last. The LLSC guys were going to give Dungavel a try so myself and Rob set off to join them.

A likely looking slot presented itself today so a few off us met up at the bottom of Cacra. We drove the landrover up to the top gate and a short stroll to the top found a nice friendly breeze, so after a short time it was time to fly.
A lovely day for a fly-walk in the hills.
Woke up on Saturday knowing I had a free day and that I was heading out to a hill somewhere regardless of what it was looking like. Had a wee check on the group to find that there were a couple of different opinions/locations afoot then decided to give Sean a call. With there being an issue on the motorway and that it was quite a drive, we decided to meet up at Gargunnock just after 10am instead of making the trip down to Bodesbeck or even the Eildons.
A few off us made our way to Cacra today. Rob appeared at my place and we made our way round to Cacra in the landrover, and thanks to the Goodridge all terrain tyres we were able to drive to the top for around 11am.
