Well got out flying at last. Only had a small window of time so headed to Witchie Knowe with children in tow.
Not quite strong enough an first take off, a few beats and them a bottom landing. (not a bad thing being very rusty and had to get rid of the two field mice stowed away in my harness)
Walked back up and sat around for about 15 min and then the wind picked up. Another launch and up and away, went for a top landing after about 20 min and got dragged much to the amusement of my children. (at least they never got any pictures of that) Took off again and flew about for about half an hour and noticed wind was picking up, so went to land but could not get down on top so headed for a bottom landing. Had to use big ears and half bar to get down to the landing at the bottom, but as soon as I let out the big ears I was going straight up. Eventually used full bar and big ears and flew out past the old stone sheep pen to land, keeping ears in until just before touch down and C's to get the wing down quickly.
Really good to be flying again, I think with a B or a C wing you would have been able to fly off to the other take off's and had more fun.
