Where and when we've been flying

Arriving at about 11.30 at Witchie knowe , Barry and I realised there was almost no wind ,so we retired to the van for a chat and coffee. Within half an hour the grass was starting to move , so another quick check at the face showed a light breeze From the south east.
Well what I nice surprise having Tinto to myself, soarable for 2-3 hrs this afternoon.
And the fun begins with a decision to head up onto Jubilee Cairn to see whats happening.I manage to get the quad up that steep face on the third attempt,a bit scary.
After a bit off a slow start I decided to drive up Craighill on the quad to see what was happening on the tops. NOWT, is the answer, not a breath, Perfect for what I had in mind.
The annual wingbeat shopping trip to Keswick took place on the 15th December. 7 in attendance.
Visited the sick and the wrong.
With one day's leave left to take in 2012 and a possibly flyable forecast for the lake district meant a last minute day off and trip south with Dave Tomkins.
