A promising forecast. Thermals and light southerly breeze meant I sorted out a day off. School sports day in the morning. Paragliding in the afternoon. Sounded like a plan.

The forecast was promising a southerly breeze in the evening so i jumped int he car and headed up to see where might be flyable.
Witchieknowe 4th June 2015
The last month has been pretty pants weather wise. Thursday evening looked like there might be a chance for some flying as / when the wind dropped.
Parts of the country had a bit of a sea breeze but there was no sign of it (?) so we headed to Witchieknowe.
Broughton - 23rd May 2015
Managed a ttb at Broughton before 10am which was smooth. Needed it to check my new Advance Progress 2 harness was set up well. Loved it.
Lakes Charity Classic 2015
After being convinced to brave a fairly dubious weather forecast, I headed down to Buttermere in Cumbria for the Lakes Charity Classic.
Gerald was already there, installed beside the Pennine boys and Chris Booth.
Glencoe Friday 1st May
Hi All,
Bob Mathews and I, after a cup of tea and a bacon roll in the cafe at the bottom of the hill, headed up the ski lift and joined 40 or so pilots on the lower slopes of Meall a Bhuiridh, noted that Derek and Dorita had also made it so it was a small show from Wingbeat. Thing was it was already 11:30 and no activity with one pilot going off early on a straight TTB, what was going on it was supposed to be a 5 star day. Not only that it had gone Easterly so was quite cross hill. Anyway it was a good time to have a little socialising and a catch up with others. There was quite a large contingent from north of England who came and were all quite expectant.
