Where and when we've been flying

Road Trip...Road Trip...Road Trip... Another successful road trip with Davies. Drove down from the New Forest to StHilaire to stay with Adam and Virginie. Stopped at Troyes on the way down. Very pretty little town and had a good dinner.
Well the Ochils turned out OK but not epic.
Well after much absence from the esteemed company of team Wingbeat, the forecast and my diary was alluding to a flyable afternoon/ evening in the Borders and joining the boys on top of the hill. The only question that remained was which one?...
After a bit of banter on the group we settled on going round to Broughton. A meet up at the usual place in Innerleithen saw Dudley, Rob and myself heading round to the site.
A bank holiday weekend, at least in Englandshire, so guaranteed not to be flyable since the weekend forecast was for a mixture of rain and sun with the Monday forecast suggesting over-development with thundery showers. Still, a plan was hatched to meet at Witchie around 5.30 in the hope that the southerly winds would drop as the heat of the day subsided.
Another chance of some evening soaring at Dungavel looked on the cards. Wind strong during the day but forecast to drop. and it did :-)
